Follow recipes accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of different spirits, wines, beers, and liqueurs.
Create new and innovative cocktails based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients (if required).
Customer Service:
Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
Take drink orders accurately and promptly, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
Offer recommendations and suggestions based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating issues to management as needed.
Bar Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including countertops, equipment, and glassware.
Restock bar supplies, such as ice, garnishes, and beverages, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
Adhere to all sanitation and safety guidelines, maintaining a hygienic and safe work environment.
Monitor and manage inventory, reporting any shortages or discrepancies to management.
Cash Handling:
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately and efficiently, processing payments and making change.
Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly, following established procedures.
Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Compliance:
Adhere to all local and state laws regarding alcohol service, including age verification and responsible beverage service.
Maintain a current certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS).
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume environment (minimum 2 years preferred).
Extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS) preferred.
