Check with seller Business Development Specialist – Large Corporate
- Location: Da Nang City, vietnam
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven Business Development Specialist – Large Corporate to drive corporate and institutional business for our new luxury hotel/resort during the pre-opening and operational phases. This role focuses on acquiring and managing high-value corporate accounts, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), and long-term partnerships that deliver consistent room nights, banquet revenue, and ancillary income.
As Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in building the hotel’s corporate client portfolio from the ground up, working closely with the General Manager, Sales Director, and Marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Sales & Business Development
Identify, target, and acquire new large corporate accounts, multinational companies, government institutions, and travel management companies (TMCs).
Develop and execute sales strategies to secure corporate rate agreements, annual contracts, and preferred supplier status.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of MICE and corporate events.
Client Relationship Management
Manage key accounts and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers (HR, Procurement, Travel Managers).
Conduct site inspections, client presentations, and negotiations for corporate/MICE packages.
Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets from corporate segments.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Conduct market research on corporate travel trends, competitor activities, and potential clients in Vietnam and key source markets.
Collaborate with Digital Marketing and Revenue teams to optimize corporate offerings and online visibility.
Pre-Opening Focus
Support pre-opening sales activities, including preparation of corporate proposals, rate structures, and contract templates.
Participate in document verification and compliance for all corporate contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
Reporting & Collaboration
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide weekly/monthly sales forecasts and activity reports.
Work cross-functionally with Rooms, F&B, and Events teams to ensure seamless delivery of corporate services.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
Experience
5–9+ years in hotel sales, corporate business development, or key account management.
Proven track record in securing large corporate contracts and MICE business.
Experience with international chains or pre-opening projects is a strong advantage.
Technical & Language Skills
Strong knowledge of corporate sales processes, contract negotiation, and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar).
Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Vietnamese is essential. Additional languages (Chinese, Korean, Japanese) are a plus.
Profile
Hunter mentality with strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with field sales activities.
High level of professionalism and business acumen.
