We are seeking a safe, reliable, and efficient Light Truck Driver to join our logistics and delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely transport and delivery of goods, parcels, or equipment within a defined local or regional area. Key Responsibilities
Safe Operation: Safely operate light trucks (e.g., cargo vans, pick-up trucks, box trucks under 26,000 lbs) to transport goods, adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations.

Route Execution: Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely pick-up and delivery; use GPS and routing software to navigate efficiently in various traffic and weather conditions.

Loading & Unloading: Assist with the manual loading and unloading of freight, ensuring all items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.

Documentation: Accurately complete delivery manifests, logbooks, and customer receipts; verify the accuracy of shipments at pick-up and drop-off points.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report any mechanical issues, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to management immediately.

Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers at delivery sites; address minor delivery inquiries or discrepancies on-site.

Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to company safety policies, including proper lifting techniques, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to local transport regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must meet insurance and company requirements for operating company vehicles.

Experience: 1–2+ years of experience in delivery, driving, or courier roles is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy items (up to 40-50 lbs) regularly.

Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and entering/exiting the vehicle frequently throughout the shift.

Ability to work in various weather conditions during load/unload processes.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of local geography and road navigation.

Proficiency in using GPS, mobile delivery apps, and basic communication tools.

Ability to multitask and adapt to changing routes or delivery priorities.
