Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and engaging Lecturer in Business Administration to join our faculty. Job Responsibilities
Instructional Delivery: Lead courses across core business disciplines, including Principles of Management, Strategic Planning, Organizational Behavior, Business Ethics, and Operational Strategy.
Curriculum Development: Architect a curriculum that balances time-tested management theory with contemporary best practices, such as Agile management, sustainability, and digital-first business modeling.
Applied Lab Facilitation: Manage practical workshops that leverage case study analysis, business simulations, and collaborative team-based problem-solving exercises.
Research & Scholarship: Engage in active research in areas such as organizational leadership, corporate social responsibility, management science, or the impact of innovation on market competitiveness.
Capstone Mentorship: Mentor students through capstone projects that require them to synthesize their knowledge into a cohesive, actionable business plan or an analysis of a real-world organizational challenge.
Industry Engagement: Act as a bridge between the university and the business community, facilitating guest speaker events, industry visits, and student internship opportunities.
Departmental Collaboration: Contribute to faculty committees, program accreditation, and initiatives that enhance the department’s reputation for academic excellence.
Job Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Management, or a related field (a PhD is highly preferred).
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in management, business consulting, or corporate leadership, combined with prior tertiary-level teaching or training experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in business analytical tools and software (e.g., MS Excel for modeling, Project Management software, CRM platforms).
Understanding of standard business frameworks (SWOT, Porter’s Five Forces, PESTEL, Lean Six Sigma).
Familiarity with digital collaboration and virtual meeting tools common in modern workplaces.
