Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Training Support Specialist in Hospital Management to join our healthcare administration faculty. As healthcare systems navigate the challenges of digital health records, patient-centered care, and complex resource allocation, your role is to support the training of future hospital administrators. You will facilitate the delivery of curricula that blend operational management, clinical workflow optimization, and healthcare policy, ensuring students are prepared to manage high-standard medical facilities.
Job Responsibilities
Program Coordination: Manage the logistical execution of healthcare management training modules, ensuring that lab environments, digital health record (EHR) simulations, and case study materials are fully prepared.
Instructional Support: Assist Lead Instructors in facilitating classes on Hospital Operations, Health Service Quality, Patient Flow Management, and Healthcare Financial Management.
Practical Lab Facilitation: Oversee simulated clinic setups, patient throughput workshops, and medical inventory forecasting sessions using industry-standard Health Information Management Systems (HIMS).
Curriculum Maintenance: Assist in updating training materials to reflect current trends, such as telemedicine integration, healthcare data analytics, and patient safety protocols.
Assessment & Feedback: Coordinate the evaluation of student performance in operational simulations and administrative case studies. Provide supplemental guidance to ensure technical proficiency in hospital resource management and emergency preparedness.
Industry & Partner Liaison: Facilitate site visits to partner hospitals, coordinate internships, and invite healthcare administrators for guest lectures to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world medical facility management.
Quality Assurance: Monitor training effectiveness via student evaluations and feedback from hospital partners, providing data-driven recommendations to the program management team.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field (a certification in Health Information Management is highly preferred).
Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in hospital operations (e.g., admissions, clinic management, or logistics) or a healthcare education support role.
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of Health Information Management Systems (HIMS) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) platforms.
Understanding of healthcare KPIs (e.g., patient satisfaction scores, bed occupancy rates, average length of stay).
Familiarity with clinical governance and patient safety protocols.
Soft Skills:
Clinical Empathy: A strong commitment to patient-centric care and the ability to instill this in students.
Organizational Agility: Ability to manage multiple operational details (schedules, compliance requirements, lab setups) in a high-pressure environment.
