Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, motivate, and evaluate the entire research team, including research scientists, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and doctoral interns.

Standards & Quality Control: Establish and enforce high standards for experimental design, computational reproducibility, and research integrity; conduct regular peer reviews and technical audits.

Operations Planning: Develop and manage research roadmaps, long-term experimental cycles, and innovation strategies to ensure breakthrough results and practical product integration.

Resource & Budget Management: Control funding for high-performance computing (HPC) resources, specialized hardware/software, and research lab infrastructure; manage grant applications and academic partnerships.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with product teams, patent counsel, and executive leadership to align scientific discoveries with commercial goals and strategic intellectual property development.

Training & Development: Design and deliver comprehensive internal seminars on emerging technologies, advanced algorithms, and scientific methodologies; mentor junior researchers on publication and patenting.

Compliance & Reliability: Ensure full adherence to research ethics, data privacy regulations, intellectual property protections, and internal governance guidelines.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare reports on research outcomes, technical whitepapers, and patent filings; implement innovative research workflows and collaborative methodologies.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: PhD in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field is preferred. A strong track record of published research is highly desirable.

Experience: 5–10+ years in industrial or academic research, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or senior managerial capacity. Experience in high-impact R&D environments is highly desirable.

Technical & Management Skills:

Expertise in one or more areas such as AI/ML, human-computer interaction, robotics, computer vision, or distributed systems.

Strong proficiency in experimental design, statistical analysis, and programming (e.g., Python, C++, Julia).

Proven ability to lead high-performing research teams and translate complex theories into real-world applications.
