We are seeking an experienced, leadership-driven Platform Engineer to spearhead our internal developer platform (IDP) initiatives and maintain the highest standards of infrastructure automation, reliability, and developer productivity. In this senior role, you will oversee the design and implementation of robust platform services, enabling our engineering teams to deploy, monitor, and scale applications with speed and confidence. Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, motivate, and evaluate the platform engineering team, including site reliability engineers (SREs), DevOps specialists, and infrastructure automation engineers.

Standards & Quality Control: Establish and enforce high standards for infrastructure-as-code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and platform service reliability; conduct regular architecture audits and post-mortem reviews.

Operations Planning: Develop and manage platform roadmaps, service catalogs, and self-service toolsets to streamline development workflows and reduce infrastructure friction.

Resource & Budget Management: Control cloud infrastructure expenditure (FinOps), tooling licenses, and platform development budgets; manage relationships with cloud service providers and platform vendors.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Product teams to align platform capabilities with organizational goals and evolving developer needs.

Training & Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on platform usage, Kubernetes best practices, and internal developer tooling; mentor team members.

Compliance & Reliability: Ensure full adherence to data security standards, governance requirements, and internal infrastructure reliability and uptime objectives.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare reports on platform adoption, system performance, and developer productivity metrics; implement innovative infrastructure automation and platform-engineering methodologies.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant cloud and Kubernetes certifications are highly desirable.

Experience: 5–10+ years in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or senior managerial capacity. Experience in architecting enterprise-scale, cloud-native platforms is highly desirable.

Technical & Management Skills:

Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Crossplane), and CI/CD orchestration.

Strong knowledge of cloud-native ecosystems (CNCF projects), service mesh, and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, manage complex platform migrations, and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
