We are seeking a skilled and reliable System Support Engineer to join our IT operations team. In this role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and security of the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. You will provide technical support for servers, networks, applications, and end-user systems while proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and support business continuity. Key Responsibilities

System Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor server performance, network health, and system availability using monitoring tools; perform routine maintenance, updates, patches, and backups.
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, operating system, and network issues across on-premise and cloud environments.
Infrastructure Support: Manage and support Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and cloud services (Azure, AWS).
Incident & Problem Management: Handle IT service requests and incidents through ticketing systems; conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
User & Application Support: Provide advanced support for business applications, databases, email systems, and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, etc.).
System Upgrades & Projects: Participate in system migration, upgrades, new deployments, and infrastructure improvement projects; coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security policies, perform vulnerability checks, and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain technical documentation, system inventories, SOPs, and generate regular performance and incident reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2–5+ years of hands-on experience in System Support, IT Infrastructure Support, System Administration, or related roles.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
Proficiency in monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds) and backup solutions.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is highly desirable.
Understanding of database systems (SQL Server, MySQL) and basic cybersecurity practices.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team under pressure.
