We are seeking a safe, professional, and reliable Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods over long distances, ensuring all deliveries are made on time while maintaining strict compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Key Responsibilities
Safe Operation: Safely operate heavy and tractor-trailer trucks, including performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, securing cargo, and navigating long-distance routes in various weather and traffic conditions.

Logistics & Delivery: Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of freight; communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams.

Compliance & Regulations: Maintain strict adherence to all DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS) rules, and electronic logging device (ELD) requirements.

Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary shipping documents, logbooks, and electronic records, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards.

Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor vehicle performance, report mechanical issues immediately to the maintenance department, and ensure the truck remains clean and in good working order.

Communication: Maintain constant, professional communication with dispatch, customers, and safety personnel to provide status updates and resolve delivery issues.

Safety Standards: Participate in safety training, prioritize road safety at all times, and represent the organization with professionalism during all interactions.

Requirements & Qualifications
Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.

Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in heavy or tractor-trailer driving is preferred; strong knowledge of long-haul logistics is required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain seated for extended periods.

Capable of performing physical tasks such as securing loads, checking tires, and occasional lifting.

Ability to pass required physical examinations and drug/alcohol screenings.

Key Skills:

Expert knowledge of road safety rules, traffic laws, and heavy vehicle handling.

Proficiency in using GPS, ELD systems, and basic mobile technology.

Strong spatial awareness and ability to maneuver large vehicles in tight spaces.
